WORKSHOP- Paint and draw on ceramic

CHF 0.00

This workshop introduces the refined technique of sgraffito on stoneware, where a layer of colored engobe is applied and then carefully carved to reveal striking patterns and imagery.

Structured in two focused sessions, participants first create their own stoneware tile and develop a design tailored to the sgraffito or clay masking technique. In the second session, the engobe (colored slip) is applied, dried, and incised, bringing the design to life through contrast and texture. At this stage, a safe single firing is possible. A transparent or semi-gloss glaze finish can be added by the instructor for a professional result.

For adult learners and professional or university-level students, an additional session is offered to supervise and deepen the glazing process.

An immersive, hands-on experience designed to elevate both technical skill and creative expression in contemporary ceramics.
